The women’s hockey team at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls has many wonderful players and almost all of them have something in common that spectators may not have not noticed: The team is made up of almost all Minnesotans.
Paige Johnson, a defender for the Falcons, is the only player from Wisconsin, and Carina Randazzo, also a defender, is from Idaho. The other 20 athletes on the roster are from all over Minnesota.
